Dave Heisley
​Dave Heisley retired in 2012 after spending most of his career in the technology sector, serving at multiple management levels in widely varying activities in operations, marketing, and engineering. He holds a BSEE from the University of Arizona and advanced coursework towards a dual MSEE and MBA. He has been granted 5 patents on analog IC design and analog floating gate technology.
While Marketing Manager for Apex Microtechnology, Dave produced and presented technical seminars worldwide to engineers and scientists. As Linear Products Marketing Manager for Burr-Brown Corporation, he directed marketing activities in Europe. Other marketing roles included Corporate Analyst, where he produced, ran a world-wide demand forecast system, and set international pricing for Burr-Brown Corporation.
In his roles as Senior Engineer and Design Manager, he was responsible for defining requirements, determining capabilities, and assisting in contract negotiations for a power foundry relationship between Burr-Brown and SGS Thompson, the French Italian semiconductor giant. His engineering contributions included introducing 3 generations of a groundbreaking power regulator design that set sales records for Texas Instruments Power Division. He has also conducted research into analog floating gate technology for use in extreme low power products.
